1. Basic principle

Blood Pressure Log is designed for local use. Confirmed blood pressure and pulse readings are stored only in the app’s internal device storage.

2. Manual use

The app can be used completely without speech input. Manual entry, history, deletion and CSV export require no internet connection.

3. Optional speech recognition

Speech input uses the speech recognition service configured on the Android device. Depending on device, provider and settings, processing may occur online. Microphone permission is required.

4. Processing by the app

The app receives only the recognised text result. It does not permanently store a voice recording. Values can be reviewed and changed before saving.

5. No developer transmission

The app has no own server connection, tracking, advertising or account. It does not transmit readings to the developer or to its own servers.

6. Local storage and deletion

Readings remain in local app storage. Individual readings or the complete history can be deleted. Android removes local app data when the app is uninstalled.

7. CSV export

For CSV export, the app opens the Android share/open-with dialog. The exported file is passed to an app selected by the user only after an explicit user action and is then under the user’s control.

8. Permissions

The app requires microphone permission only for optional speech input. The app itself does not request internet permission.

9. Speech provider

If the Android speech service processes audio online, the privacy terms of that provider apply.
